      Detailed description:

      Neodymax ranks among the strongest permanent magnetic chucks in our range. Heavy holding force up to 120 N/cm2 helps clamp the parts during machining efficiently. This is due to the double neodymium magnetic system capable of exerting a high holding force and retaining a low chuck weight.

      The top plate is made of very durable material and provided with transverse combined poles with a pitch of 5/1/5/1/2/1 mm (steel/stainless steel). Consequently, Neodymax is suitable for workpiece clamping during precise surface grinding when it is no problem to clamp small and thin parts as well as much bigger components. The chuck can also be used for light milling operations. Thanks to its waterproof design, the chuck can be immersed in dielectric liquid during EDM machining.

      The Neodymax permanent magnetic chuck is an ideal choice for very precise surface grinding, electro-discharge machining (EDM), and selected lighter milling operations. This versatile chuck uses the power of advanced neodymium magnets, which generate a stable and even clamping force across the entire active surface. Since it does not require electricity for operation, it is completely independent of the power grid, generates no internal heat, and completely eliminates thermal expansion. This ensures absolute dimensional stability of workpieces and maximum work safety without the risk of material release during a power outage.

      Fine transverse pole pitch for reliable clamping of small and large workpieces

      The key design advantage of the Neodymax model is its fine transverse pole pitch with steel and brass laminations. This specific geometry creates an optimal, concentrated magnetic field with a lower penetration depth into the material, allowing for the safe and firm clamping of not only standard workpieces, but also very thin sheets, small components, and complexly shaped workpieces. The magnet holds the parts over their entire surface without any mechanical pressure, thereby effectively dampening vibrations during the machining cycle and preventing unwanted bending or deformation of susceptible materials.
