      The GP250 is a permanent magnet designed for handling steel sheets and plates and tilting them between horizontal and vertical positions. It enables the safe gripping, lifting and positioning of material during the manufacture, storage or processing of sheet metal.
      Thanks to the special design of the lifting eye, a single magnet can be used to handle loads in both horizontal and vertical positions, which significantly simplifies handling and increases work efficiency.

      Product description

      The GP250 permanent magnet is designed for handling steel sheets and plates and rotating them by 90° between a horizontal and vertical position. It enables the safe positioning of material during loading, unloading and the operation of production equipment. Thanks to the optimised distribution of the magnetic field, the magnet is also suitable for handling thin sheets, which may bend during lifting.

      The large lifting eye can be secured in a vertical position, enabling safe handling of the load in both directions. As a result, a single magnet can be used both for lifting sheets from a stack and for their subsequent tilting and transport. The magnet’s design complies with the requirements of standard EN 13155 and is engineered with a focus on the safe handling of sheet metal.


      The magnet is intended for handling flat loads with a smooth, even surface. For handling round bars, sections or loads with an uneven surface, we recommend using permanent magnets from the Neo or Revolift series.

      Crane permanent magnet GP 250 is specifically designed for operations where thinner materials are frequently handled. Unlike conventional lifting magnets, which require solid steel blocks for 100% performance, the GP 250 can efficiently and safely lift sheets as thin as 3 mm. Thanks to its unique magnetic field configuration, it is an ideal aid for picking individual sheets from bundles, handling steel profiles, tubes, or loading material into laser and plasma cutting machines.

      Unique peel-off system for easy handling

      The main technological advantage of the GP 250 model is its patented mechanical release system. Because permanent neodymium magnets have enormous strength, detaching them from thin material can be complicated in conventional devices. However, this magnet is equipped with an ergonomic lever, the activation of which mechanically pushes the pole extensions away from the surface of the load. This process requires minimal physical effort from the operator, speeds up handling cycles, and completely prevents scratching or deformation of finished workpieces.

      Compact design and high flexibility in the workshop

      Thanks to its low weight and very compact dimensions, the GP 250 magnet is exceptionally agile. It can be easily attached to any standard lifting device, crane, or hoist. A major advantage is also the possibility of connecting multiple such magnets into modular systems using spreader beams, which enables safe handling of even extremely long or flexible sheets without undesirable bending. Moreover, the robust all-metal design guarantees a long service life and minimal maintenance requirements, even in demanding multi-shift industrial operation.
