      Product description

      Detailed description:

The Fixar compound sine table is a high precise device designed for workpiece clamping during precise angle grinding, electrical discharge machining and measuring. It enhances the efficiency of work during machining because it offers the possibility to tilt the workpiece on both axes with high accuracy.

You set the angles simply by using the end gauges based on the sine principle. Unique design of the bearing along with the hardened base plate and the side guidance provide extreme accuracy even after a long period of use. The Neomicro magnetic chuck is part of the transverse sine table as it is stable and has a high holding force without deformation of the workpiece up to 100 N/cm2.

      Important parameters:

      • Application: Grinding, measuring, EDM
      • Technology: Permanent
      • Holding force: 100 N/cm2
      • Min. workpiece size: 4 x 4 x 1 mm

      • Pole pitch: T1.9 1.4+0.5 mm (steel/brass)
      • Guarantee: 2 years

      Additional information:

The Fixar compound sine table allows tilting on both axes at the same time. If you only need tilting on one axis (longitudinal or transverse), have a look at the Fixar simple sine table.

Two-axis angular machining with Fixar cross sine table

The Fixar compound sine table is the ultimate solution for the most spatially demanding angular grinding, electrical discharge machining (EDM), and high-precision measurements in tool rooms. Unlike simple models, this compound system allows for independent and highly accurate angular adjustment in two perpendicular axes simultaneously. The tilt is precisely set using gauge blocks based on the sine rule, which eliminates any inaccuracies of conventional angular scales. Fixar is therefore an indispensable tool for the production of complex cutting tools, dies, molds, and wherever absolute geometric precision and perfect repeatability are required.

Maximum structural rigidity and excellent permanent clamping

The foundation of the Fixar cross table from the Czech manufacturer Walmag is a robust construction made of first-class hardened steel, which guarantees exceptional rigidity and stability even with a compound tilt in both axes. The integrated permanent magnetic chuck is equipped with powerful neodymium magnets with very fine transverse pole spacing. This creates a homogeneous and dense magnetic field that securely fixes thin sheets, small parts, and complex workpieces without internal stress or mechanical deformation. The entire system is 100% waterproof, resistant to long-term exposure to dielectric fluids or cooling emulsions, and thanks to purely mechanical switching with a crank, it does not require electricity or cause thermal expansion of the material.

      Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Are your products made in the Czech Republic? Are your products made in the Czech Republic?

Yes, the entire process – from in-house development through design, production, to final assembly and testing – takes place directly in our plant in Kroměříž. This gives us full control over quality and allows us to flexibly tailor products to specific customer requirements.

What is the difference between permanent, electromagnetic, and electro-permanent systems? What is the difference between permanent, electromagnetic, and electro-permanent systems?

Permanent Magnets: Operate without electricity, activated mechanically by a lever. They are safe, mobile, and maintenance-free.
Electromagnets: Generate a magnetic field using coils powered by mains electricity. They possess immense strength, can clamp uneven surfaces, and allow force regulation, but require a constant power supply and backup sources.
Electro-permanent Magnets: Combine the advantages of both systems. They only require electric current for a fraction of a second for activation (magnetization) and deactivation. During operation itself, they do not need current, making them extremely safe even in the event of a power outage and preventing overheating.

Can your lifting magnets also be used for handling materials at high temperatures? Can your lifting magnets also be used for handling materials at high temperatures?

Conventional permanent magnets lose their strength at temperatures above 80 °C. However, for operations with higher temperatures, we offer special series (e.g. HOT lifting magnets) that can safely handle materials with temperatures up to 180 °C.

Why is it necessary to use a demagnetizer after machining? Why is it necessary to use a demagnetizer after machining?

Ferromagnetic materials retain residual magnetism after being exposed to a magnetic field (e.g., when clamped onto a magnetic chuck). This causes metal chips and dust to stick to the workpiece, which can damage tools or complicate further processing (e.g., painting, welding). Demagnetizers reliably remove this residual magnetism.

Do you provide service and revisions for your products?Do you provide service and revisions for your products?

Yes, for all our technologies, including older BUX, Walker, and Pilana brand products, we provide complete warranty and post-warranty service, repairs, overhauls, and original spare parts. We also perform mandatory periodic certifications, inspections, and load capacity testing of lifting magnets.

Do you also offer staff training?Do you also offer staff training?

Yes. As part of the delivery of our magnetic applications and large systems, we provide professional operator training to ensure that working with magnets is as efficient and safe as possible.

How is heavy goods (e.g. clamping plates) delivered? How is heavy goods (e.g. clamping plates) delivered?

Due to the higher weight of our products, we cooperate with specialized pallet and parcel carriers who ensure safe handling.

How is the safety of lifting magnets purchased from the e-shop guaranteed? How is the safety of lifting magnets purchased from the e-shop guaranteed?

All lifting magnets comply with the strict ČSN EN 13155 standard and operate with a safety factor of 3+. This means that in a pull-off test (the so-called Air Gap test, which simulates a real air gap/dirt in operation), the magnet can lift more than three times its declared maximum load capacity.
